What makes an Avocado mattress 'green'?
Our mattresses are handcrafted in California using GOTS certified organic cotton and wool, and GOLS certified organic latex. We never use petroleum-based foams, chemical flame retardants, or toxic glues.
How long is the sleep trial period?
We offer a 1-year (365-night) sleep trial for all of our mattresses. If you are not completely satisfied after sleeping on it for at least 30 days, you can return it for a full refund.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we provide free carbon-neutral shipping on all orders within the contiguous United States. We also offer optional in-home setup and old mattress removal services for an additional fee.
What kind of warranty comes with the mattress?
Every Avocado Green Mattress is backed by a 25-year limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects and structural integrity, ensuring your investment is protected for decades.
Do I need a specific foundation or bed frame?
Our mattresses work best on a firm, breathable surface. This includes our reclaimed wood bed frames, a slatted base with slats no more than 5 inches apart, or a non-flexing box spring.
Are your products certified for safety?
Yes, our products are GREENGUARD Gold certified for low emissions and Formaldehyde Free claimed by UL Environment, ensuring the highest standards for indoor air quality.
